Slow Food at the Toledo Farmers Market

Saturday June 19th - It was a gorgeous Saturday morning, and several dozen market shoppers visited the Slow Food Maumee Valley table to choose toppings - strawberries from Perrans and honey from Wines Bee Yard, swiss chard from Sage Organics and Lock 21 from Canal Junction - for a crepe made by Amelia Contreras and assembled by Rita McDougal and Mary Weiss. We'll be back at the market again: July 24th, August 21st, September 18th and October 16th.
