June 4th was the first Slow Food demo of the market season. Amelia Contreras chose a simple and delicious recipe for shaved asparagus salad. Market visits allow us to talk to dozens of people and spread the word about Slow Food as we encourage shoppers to try new recipes with seasonal ingredients. Plus it's fun!
