February Slow Supper
SFMV is teaming up with the folks at the Original Sub Shop (SFMV members Jackie and Sarkis David)to bring you " A Night at the Baghdad Cafe" on Friday February 5th.
Jackie and Sarkis are cooking up community chicken - courtesy of ToledoGROWS - and exotic accompaniments. The dinner is for the benefit of ToledoGROWS Seed Swap.

Our special guest speaker will be Andrew Zychowicz from Stanley's Meats. Andrew will draw on his training as a scientist and his experience as a small-scale producer to give us a new perspective on what we eat:
Processing, labeling, regulating... How do large food companies manipulate our choices? How can we as consumers/co-producers make good food choices?
